The C'est La Vie hitmakers were huge stars across Europe during their time together from 1998 until 2002, notching up four number one singles and two top five albums in the U.K.

And the band is aiming to try and reignite its former success as they embark on a series of reunion shows in 2010.

However, only three of the original bandmembers will return - sisters Edele and Keavy Lynch and Lindsay Armaou.

Fellow former singer Sinead O'Carroll is sticking with her job as a TV presenter in her native Ireland.

On its Twitter.com blog, the band writes, "We were told to come on twitter to announce it, word of mouth and all that, but B*Witched are reforming for 2010 as a 3-piece.

"Sinead is not rejoining, not because of drama because she is happy where she is now in presenting and we're right behind her!"
