Rapper Eve has rejected her first opportunity to take home a Grammy for her decade-old collaboration with The Roots - after drummer Ahmir '?Uestlove' Thompson offered her his own mangled prize. Skip related content

Eve confronted the drummer on Thursday during an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, revealing she had not received a Best Rap Performance award for the 1999 song U Got Me - which also featured Erykah Badu.
?uestlove offered to loan the Tambourine hitmaker his statuette, revealing he had since accidentally split it in half.
He explained, "You know there was (sic) only five and there are a billion of us (in the band). That Grammy's always been in my bathroom and I knocked it down. It fell over."
But Eve refused to take home the broken award.
She added, "(I won a) Grammy. But it's cool (that I don't have one). I didn't touch it either... (But) I'm cool with it now."
Yusuf Islam, the artist formerly known as Cat Stevens, is strolling back onto the stage after a break of 33 years.
