A group of six thugs were imprisoned for up to 12-years each on Monday at the capital's Southwark Crown Court for their participation in a kidnapping plot last August.
Allen's 25-year-old male pal and a teenager were blindfolded and handcuffed while working in a London clothes store, before being taken to an unknown address and held hostage for a week as the gang demanded a ransom of £90,000 from their respective families.
Police burst into a East London flat after a tip-off and released the hostages.
The Smile singer's pal, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has admitted, "I thought they were going to kill me."
Authorities are still seeking two other men believed to be involved with the crime, while another three have been arrested.
Yusuf Islam, the artist formerly known as Cat Stevens, is strolling back onto the stage after a break of 33 years.
