The Irish band and the Canadian crooner will perform on the 25 October show - and Buble is delighted to have been asked back following his mentoring stint on the 2007 series, which was won by Leon Jackson.
He says, "I remember last time having such a laugh hanging out with Rhydian and Leon and the rest of the crew, all hugely talented and great fun to be with."
The X Factor live shows are turning into superstar haunts - Cheryl Cole and Whitney Houston will take to the stage this Sunday to belt out their latest hits, while Robbie Williams and Alexandra Burke captivated ITV viewers last weekend with their performances.
Yusuf Islam, the artist formerly known as Cat Stevens, is strolling back onto the stage after a break of 33 years.
