The 16-year-old star was in town to play a concert at the city's Freedom Hall and was still wearing face paint from her trick-or-treat festivities when she took the stage at the Phoenix Hill Tavern Bar at midnight.
A video posted on TMZ.com shows Cyrus jamming with fellow revellers dressed up as zombies and glam rockers for her rendition of I Love Rock 'n' Roll.
Cyrus reportedly left shortly after the performance.
Yusuf Islam, the artist formerly known as Cat Stevens, is strolling back onto the stage after a break of 33 years.
