The Superstar singer has split from her sports player partner Darren Byfield after moving out of the couple's Sussex home last month.
A statement from the star's rep says, "It is with regret that Jamelia and Darren Byfield today confirm they are splitting up and getting a divorce.
"No one else is involved. Their priority is naturally their two children."
The pair has a daughter together, while Jamelia has another daughter from a previous relationship.
They got married in a lavish ceremony in June 2008, just a year after they initially broke up amid allegations Byfield had cheated on the singer.
Yusuf Islam, the artist formerly known as Cat Stevens, is strolling back onto the stage after a break of 33 years.
