The star, who played John Connor in TV series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, was taken into custody on 14 October after allegedly running over a cyclist in the San Fernando Valley. The victim suffered minor injuries.
Dekker, 21, is now facing two misdemeanour charges in relation to the incident and is due to be arraigned in court on Friday, reports TMZ.com.
Yusuf Islam, the artist formerly known as Cat Stevens, is strolling back onto the stage after a break of 33 years.
