The former G-Unit star was preparing to launch The R.E.D. Album on 8 December, and had even started promotional duties last month.
But he has confirmed his record label Interscope has decided to postpone the release to allow him and collaborator Dr. Dre to fully finish all of the CD's tracks.
On his Twitter.com page, he writes, "Album is Officially pushed back, says Interscope so that I can finish wit (sic) Dre without having to rush him, myself or the album. Think R.E.D."
A new release date has not yet been announced.




Yusuf Islam, the artist formerly known as Cat Stevens, is strolling back onto the stage after a break of 33 years.
