Reyes, 42, is expecting a baby girl at the beginning of December, while Chalke is due on Christmas Day.
And the two pals exchanged notes about impending motherhood at Reyes' recent baby shower in Santa Monica, California.
The mum-to-be tells Life & Style magazine, "We just had a talk about what it’s going to be like once they’re really here - and both of us have no freaking idea what it’s going to be like."
Reyes tells the publication that her friend is expecting a little boy.
Yusuf Islam, the artist formerly known as Cat Stevens, is strolling back onto the stage after a break of 33 years.
