Babyshambles boss Andy Boyd is accused of running down 42-year-old Chris Corder in Suffolk and driving away without stopping in September.
Boyd was charged on Friday with dangerous driving, failing to stop, driving without insurance, and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
He is due in court in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk on 24 November.
Corder remains in a critical condition at a London hospital.
