Red and pink were the colors of night at the TIME 100 Gala on April 24. Both colors can be difficult to pull off, and while some succeeded in their attempt, others should have went with something different. So who rocked the best red or pink dress at the TIME 100 Gala?
The songstress walked the red carpet wearing a strapless fuchsia Marchesa Resort 2012 dress that was a much different style than we're used to seeing her in. Unfortunately, we're not a big fan of the dress. The structured bodice wasn't working for her and neither was the asymmetrical voluminous skirt. A sweetheart neckline, a shorter skirt and less fabric would have suited her much better. At least her makeup and hair was flawless.
The "America's Next Top Model" producer attended the event wearing a strapless deep fuchsia gown that had a structured bodice consisting of draping fabric and a skirt that had a slight train. The only problem with her ensemble was the matching choker; without it the look would have been completely fabulous.
The actress rocked a short red sleeveless Lanvin dress that she paired with strappy gold heels. The stud earrings were a good pick but the necklace was not a good option; it matched the dress but it was way too large. Her hair and makeup were perfection.
The beauty arrived on the arm of her boyfriend, "Saturday Night Live" actor Seth Meyers, while wearing a bright red sleeveless dress that had a plunging neckline. She paired the look with gold earrings and a metallic clutch. Her hair was in a chignon and she opted for smokey eye makeup.
From the aforementioned looks, Alexi comes out on top with Tyra coming in at a close second. Who do you think wore the best red or pink look of the evening?
