Former Australia captain Stirling Mortlock has been ruled out of the Wallabies' Grand Slam tour of Britain and Ireland after aggravating a leg injury, local media reported Saturday. Skip related content
Mortlock was due to leave Australia Saturday and re-join the team for the tests against Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
But Mortlock, who was earlier ruled out of last week's test against New Zealand in Tokyo and Saturday's clash with England at Twickenham, was forced to withdraw after re-injuring himself in training.
Mortlock joins fellow centres Rob Horne and Berrick Barnes as casualties from the tour. The Australians have yet to decide on a replacement.
