Guildford, 20, set up the only try of the match against Wales and was quick to respond in defence when Alun-Wyn Jones seemed in the clear after an intercept pass late in the second half.
He will win his second cap on Saturday on the right wing with Sitiveni Sivivatu playing on the left.
"He can pop up anywhere in the back line, he's got plenty of pace and he can score tries," New Zealand assistant coach Steve Hansen told a news conference at the team's London hotel on Wednesday.
Owen Franks, who has played seven tests for the All Blacks this year in his debut international season, has been selected at tighthead prop while Adam Thomson was preferred to Jerome Kaino at blindside flanker.
"They have different skill sets but it's neck and neck for the number six position," said head coach Graham Henry.
"Jerome is more abrasive, both are good in the lineout but Adam is probably better on opposition ball, a bit lighter and quicker."
Hooker Aled de Malmanche, who was called up this week while holidaying in Bali, has been bracketed on the bench as cover for Corey Flynn, who sustained a hamstring injury on Monday. Henry said Flynn was unlikely to play any part in the match.
New Zealand, who have beaten both Wales and Italy in the November international season, will be bidding for an eighth consecutive win over England, who have lost to Australia and strugged to beat Argentina.
Henry was asked how he rated the current England outfit, who were booed off the field at Twickenham last Saturday.
"They got booed at the (2007) World Cup and ended up in the final," Henry replied. "They will play well, we know that and we have no illusions.
"There's a bit of physicality in the side and we expect a big test."
