Alec Baldwin has married his yoga instructor fiancee in New York, watched by members of his family and his famous Hollywood friends.
Rock Of Ages and 30 Rock star Baldwin, 54, and Hilaria Thomas, 28, were married at the city's St Patrick's Old Cathedral in a Roman Catholic ceremony.
His 30 Rock co-star Tina Fey, Law & Order actress Mariska Hargitay, director Woody Allen and environmental lawyer Robert F Kennedy Jr were among those who joined the celebrations.
His actor brothers Stephen and Billy Baldwin were among the family members who attended.
Thomas wore a silk magnolia Amsale gown with cap sleeves and a keyhole back neckline accented with crystal buttons, while Baldwin wore a Tom Ford suit.
The couple began dating last year and became in engaged in April.
Baldwin was previously married to actress Kim Basinger. Their daughter, Ireland, attended Saturday's wedding in a slate silk chiffon gown, also designed by Amsale.
The reception was held at New York University's Kimmel Centre.
The actor's friend and publicist, Matthew Hiltzik, said Baldwin warmly received congratulations from well-wishing fans on his way in for the service.
Hours before the ceremony, Baldwin tweeted lines from a poem by the American writer Emily Dickinson.
One read: "Was bridal e'er like this? A paradise, the host, And cherubim and seraphim The most familiar guest."
The wedding came a week after Baldwin and a news photographer got into a scuffle outside of a courthouse where the actor was believed to have been picking up his marriage licence.
Baldwin and the photographer disagreed over who shoved whom and no arrests were made.
Recently released Rock Of Ages is a big screen version of the hit West End and Broadway musical of the same name.
Baldwin plays club owner Dennis Dupree.
