The 'Coronation Street' star - who fulfilled his wish of performing in front of his hometown crowd at Blackpool's Tower Ballroom - and his partner Falvia Cacace were voted off by the judges after a dance-off with Ricky Groves and Erin Boag.
Head judge Len Goodman told him: "I know your goal was to make it to Blackpool and you've done that but this is a dancing competition. Yours was the weakest performance."
Craig and Flavia scored just 17 out of a possible 40 for their cha-cha-cha and the actor was furious with the scoring as he felt he had done a good job.
He told host Tess Daly: "I thought it went great, I was doing it and I was thinking, this will show them! It felt good, didn't it Flavia."
After seeing the scores, he said: "That's disgraceful, I can't believe that."
Actress Ali Bastian - who was in the bottom two last week - came top of the judges' scoreboard after she and partner Brian Fortuna received a perfect 40 for their Viennese Waltz.
The show - which takes place in London every week - was held at Blackpool's Tower Ballroom, which was home to the BBC's long-running Come Dancing show, which ran from the 1940s to 1990s.
