Richard Hammond nominated for BAFTA
The Top Gear petrol-head features in the category at the British Academy Children's Awards, along with Steve Backshall for Deadly 60, CBeebies presenter Andy Day and Phil Gallagher who fronts Mister Maker.
Disney's High School Musical has also received its first Bafta nomination, with High School Musical 3: Senior Year in the running in the feature film category, against Bolt, Coraline and Ice Age 3: Dawn Of The Dinosaurs.
Comedy duo Dick and Dom will host the awards for the first time. The pair are nominated in the entertainment category for The Legend Of Dick And Dom.
The awards are billed as "a celebration of the very best in children's media including television, film, video games and online".
This year's drama nominations include Dustbin Baby, the story of a 14-year-old girl abandoned at birth who sets out on a journey of self discovery, and Doctor Who spin-off The Sarah Jane Adventures.




Yusuf Islam, the artist formerly known as Cat Stevens, is strolling back onto the stage after a break of 33 years.
