The launch of Nasa's Ares space rocket has been delayed at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Skip related content

Blast off was scheduled for 1200 GMT but the test run has been put back twice. It is thought a cargo ship in the launch "danger area" is the cause of the latest hold-up.

Once it does go, the rocket will not leave the Earth's atmosphere. It will be a simple up and down flight so that experts can check if any changes are needed.

Ares 1-X is fitted with more than 700 sensors to relay data. Nasa has spent nearly four years and 350 million dollars on its development.
