Hollywood has finally rolled out the red carpet for the Michael Jackson movie This Is It, showing the King of Pop's final performance before his death in June. Skip related content

The film has been cut from 80 hours of videotape filming the star's last few days of rehearsals for the concerts planned for London's O2 arena in July. Director Kenny Ortega has called the film "a story of a master of his craft."
Celebrities turned out in force for the 1am UK premiere including a live performance from dance group Diversity and with famous attendees Westlife, JLS, Peter Andre, Harry Connick Junior and many more famous faces.
This Is It had its world premiere in LA at 6pm local time, and simultaneous premieres were held in 15 cities around the world including Seoul, Johannesburg, Rio De Janeiro, Berlin and London.
In the United States, online ticket seller Fandango.com reports that more than 1,000 shows are sold-out and This Is It is the No. 3 top-selling advance ticket of 2009, so far.








Yusuf Islam, the artist formerly known as Cat Stevens, is strolling back onto the stage after a break of 33 years.
