Robbie Williams 'loved' Take That footage
In a recent interview, Barlow, 38, recalled: "I was up at his house one night having some sushi with him I said 'Shall we have a watch?'
"And I said to him 'Listen, flick through the bits you don't want to watch,' but we watched the whole thing and he loved it."
When asked if Williams had said he felt like he was missing out, Barlow replied: "I think one of the things that Rob always says is that because it is him on his own, the whole weight of the show and being a performer is on his shoulders - all eyes are on him. And I must say, being part of a band, the responsibility is shared."
Barlow said he had also listened to Williams's new album, Reality Killed The Video Star. He said: "Brilliant, loved it, I knew I would".
When asked if he wants to collaborate with his old bandmate, Barlow said: "I mean, you know, everyone asks us and I do, I don't know when it will be but I definitely do, yep."
