Hunt for Orlando shooting spree gunman
A fire department spokeswoman has said they brought eight victims out of the Gateway Center.
Vicki Robles also said said there could be more casualties still inside the high-rise building. The gunman has not yet been arrested and a manhunt is under way.
According to the official a 911 call came in around 11.30am local time. The caller reported gunfire on the eighth floor of the office building.
The building at the centre of the shooting is in Florida 434 & Maitland Ave, Altamonte Springs, and is close to Disney World.
A main highway close by is shut and traffic is being diverted.
Officers with assault rifles are looking for a suspect with a blue shirt and blue jeans. Many have their weapons pointed at the parking garage.
