The pair, named as Susan Baker and the infant's mother Chrystina Mercer, are accused of interferring with child custody, false reporting of a crime, and false report of a missing child.
Authorities say they found the baby alive in a sealed box hidden under Baker's bed in her Florida home.
Although both were questioned, neither Baker's husband nor the baby's father have been charged with any wrongdoing. The baby has been placed in protective custody.
