For Valentine's Day, some celeb couples, such as Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, undoubtedly have big romance plans. But for many stars, chances are their February 14 will come and go without champagne and roses. Nevertheless, maybe a box of chocolates would lift the spirits of these six stars who have been unlucky-in-love.
Poor Demi Moore. As much as the 49-year-old "Margin Call" actress tried to keep up a good front, standing by her 34-year-old man despite numerous tales of his infidelity, her marriage to Ashton Kutcher, famous for "That '70s Show," "Punk'd" and "Two and a Half Men," just wasn't meant to last. Since then, we've watched her spiral downward and enter rehab for anorexia, drugs and depression. Someone give the woman who was a major hit in the 80s and 90s a box of chocolates.
A big box of chocolates may lift the spirits of 38-year-old model and "Project Runway" host Heidi Klum. We all thought her marriage to singer Seal was rock solid. In fact, they even renewed their marriage vows every year. But what stars tell the world is not necessarily an accurate reflection of what's going on behind closed doors. However, Heidi's been spotted still wearing her wedding ring. Will the two get back together so that we can see them at another one of their famous Halloween parties? We'll have to wait and see.
Funny lady Chelsea Hander, 36, probably wouldn't turn down a box of chocolates on Valentine's Day. She seemed so happy with hotelier and residential developer Andre Balazs. She even cleaned up her act long enough to accompany Balazs to the Hamptons. "This is my first time in the Hamptons," said Handler. "I don't think I'll surf, I think I'll just swim and wave at people." In May of 2011, she told Piers Morgan's viewers that she was dating someone. "I'm seeing someone now, but, I have spent so much time exposing my personal life to everybody that I finally am in a situation where I feel like it's disrespectful to another person." Yet, the romance was over by November of the same year. Maybe she should go back to 50 Cent?
Kat Von D
Kat Von D, 29, might appreciate a box of chocolates on Valentine's Day. In any case, it won't be coming from Sandra Bullock's ex, Jesse James. We assumed the two tattoo lovers were meant for each other. Wrong. Reportedly, James continued with his alleged cheating ways and cheated on Kat with 19 women. "I know I deserve a big fat 'I told you so,' from everyone, and wish I didn't have to say, 'You all were more right than you'll ever know' but you were," said the "LA Ink" star. Once a dog always a dog?
Kim Kardashian loves to tweet about her love for exercise. So working off a box of chocolates at the gym should be no problem for the 31-year-old. Besides, it may help take her mind off the fact that her marriage to basketball player Kris Humphries only lasted 72 days. Now that she's in her 30s, apparently Kim wants not only a husband but also kids. Maybe she'll get both before she turns 40.
What? No Russell Brand? Maybe a box of chocolates is in order? Sexy Katy Perry, 27, will find love again, no doubt. And look on the bright side, despite the absence of a prenup, Brand doesn't want Katy's $20 million. Guess not all the celebs are money hungry!
