Tech Mahindra, Aegis and Conflux Win $150m Etisalat India Deal

BPO service providers Tech Mahindra, Aegis and Conflux have won a five-year INR 7,500m ($150m) end-to-end outsourcing contract from Etisalat DB Telecom. Skip related content

Under the contract, Tech Mahindra, Aegis and Conflux will build contact centers to provide a host of customer management services including billing, collections, customer service and retention among other services. The centers will also be responsible for the complete management of back office processes and will provide both inbound and outbound services in the respective regional languages besides English and Hindi.

Tech Mahindra will manage Etisalat DB's services in North and South India, Aegis will manage West and Central India, and Conflux will be responsible for servicing customers in Bihar.

A spokesperson at Etisalat DB, said: "We are pleased to partner with Tech Mahindra, Aegis and Conflux who have the proven expertise in managing large customer support operations for telecom service providers such as Etisalat, both in India and internationally. We are confident that these companies will enable us to manage the full customer lifecycle and provide a higher level of customer management and experience of our services in India."

In September, Etisalat DB awarded a 10-year INR 20bn ($400m) deal to Tech Mahindra for managing IT applications and infrastructure requirements for Etisalat's roll-out of services across 15 circles in India.
