Spend-management software vendor Ariba has reported a net income of $5.6m for the fourth quarter 2009, compared to a net loss of $6.05m in the same quarter last year. Revenue declined 1% to $83.31m. Skip related content
Operating income was $5.71m compared to operating loss of $5.77m in the same period last year, while diluted EPS was $0.06 compared to diluted net loss per share of $0.08 a year ago. Cash flow from operations was $18.8m during the quarter.
The company said subscription and maintenance revenue increased 13% to $57.85m, while services and other revenue declined 23% to $26.46m. It added 40 new customers and closed 15 transactions over $1m, including six software deals over $1m. On-demand product deals increased 25% to 231.
For fiscal 2009, Ariba reported a net income of $8.19m compared to a net loss of $41.06m a year ago. Revenue increased 3% to $338.97m.
