Convergys Wins $71m Telecoms Contract Renewal

Customer care and billing services provider Convergys has won a two-year $71m contract renewal from an unnamed telecoms company to provide tier one technical support for its video offering. Skip related content

Under the contract, the company’s technical support agents will continue to provide Tier 1 troubleshooting and resolution services over the phone to the client’s video service subscribers.

Jim Boyce, president of Global Business Units at Convergys, said: “Convergys knows this client, its business, and the products it sells, thanks to a mutually beneficial relationship that spans many years. We will actively bring forward ideas to help our client improve customer care and customer satisfaction.”

The deal follows Convergys’ contract from an unnamed food and drug company to provide customer management solutions. It also won contract renewals worth a combined $25m for HR solutions from three unnamed large global companies in the services and technology industries.
