Michael Jackson has come third in the 2009 dead celebrities list, according to reports. Skip related content

The pop icon is estimated to have earned $90 million since his shock passing in June, at the age of 50.

Selling the rights to his posthumous concert film, "This Is It", which was released this week, is thought to have contributed much of the money.

He is also said to have sold around nine million albums and almost six million digital downloads since his death.

Elvis Presley and John Lennon are the other music figures in the Top 10, which is as follows:
