The US punk-pop act will promote latest album, "21st Century Breakdown", at the gigs.
So far, three shows have been confirmed, including one at the Parc Des Princes in Paris, France.
Speaking about the mini-tour, frontman Billy Joe Armstrong told the NME: "Playing Wembley Stadium is kind one of those moments in your career when you just go holy sh*t!
"It's going to be great because Wembley has a long tradition of rock concerts with the likes of U2, Foo Fighters and Muse playing here in the past and we're just happy to be part of that.
"It'll be great to play in Manchester too", he said, with Green Day scheduled to play the following dates:
June 2010
16 Manchester Lancashire County Cricket Ground
19 London Wembley Stadium
Tickets for the concerts go on sale on Friday, November 6.
