The rock veterans will perform "We Weren't Born To Follow", their first single from new album "The Circle", at the event in the nation's capital.
Frontman Jon Bon Jovi said the song deals directly with the historic event and confirms he "was there chipping away a piece of the wall 20 years ago when it came down."
National authorities reportedly heard the song and extended the invitation to the band, as he confirmed.
"They heard the lyric and got it and said 'yeah'. It's a pretty big deal", said Bon Jovi.
Their appearance, on November 9, will follow U2's show at the Brandenburg Gate four days earlier, which will be beamed into the MTV Europe Music Awards.
