The rapper has secured a role in "Shady Talez" and will also produce the series, reports trade paper Screen International.
The anthology is described as a cross between "Creep Show" and much-loved US programme "The Twilight Zone".
It is expected to be composed of three stories, offering a rap take on classic horror tales, alongside a four-issue comic book series.
DJ Classicz, the US company who made the "Garfield" and "Aliens vs Predator", are behind the movie.
Eminem's only other role on the big screen came in 2002, with "8 Mile".




Yusuf Islam, the artist formerly known as Cat Stevens, is strolling back onto the stage after a break of 33 years.
