Stonewall honour Boyzone
The gay rights group crowned the pop act their entertainers of the year at a ceremony in London last night.
The organisation paid tribute to Stephen Gately's decision to come out in 1999, at the peak of the band's success.
They also noted their decision to release a video featuring a same sex couple, with "Better" in 2008.
Gately died last month of natural causes. His civil partner, Andrew Coyles, was due to attend the Stonewall event at the Victoria And Albert Museum, Kensington.




Yusuf Islam, the artist formerly known as Cat Stevens, is strolling back onto the stage after a break of 33 years.
