A brush with luxury: World's most expensive toothbrush will set you back a whopping £2,600

The Reinast brush has, according to its makers, a special antibacterial protective layer which guards against germs

Keeping your teeth white and minty fresh just got a whole lot more expensive.

This is the world’s priciest toothbrush - a titanium ‘plaque destroyer’ with detachable bristle heads which costs an eye-watering £2,600.

The Reinast brush has, according to its makers, a special antibacterial protective layer which guards against germs.

Reinast say that every six months they send toothbrush owners five new brush heads for free.

For £2,600 though, we’d expect it to hover towards our mouths and brush our teeth hands-free.

The German firm behind the brush say its anti-bacterial coating ‘not only elevates the product's beauty but also brings various hygienic and medical advantages’.

They add: ‘Its patented antibacterial protective layer guards against bacterial attack on the most important part, which is present between the socket and the bristle head.’

Reinast say the ‘full body premium titanium’ brush has ‘has superior standards on the material and manufacturing quality compared to medical devices since primarily these have only a titanium coating’.

The luxurious brush comes in one of four colours - ‘titanium’, ‘champagne’, ‘rose’ and ‘matte-black’.
