Alex Jones vs. Piers Morgan: '1776 Will Commence...by FreedomBrief

Piers Morgan was subjected to a furious ten-minute on-air tirade while interviewing the libertarian commentator who wants to deport him from America.

The British TV host invited gun advocate Alex Jones on to his CNN show in the wake of the Sandy Hook shooting, only for the outspoken Jones to aggressively shout him down in an explosive exchange.

Jones had been asked to appear on the show to defend his pro-firearms stance, but he quickly took a confrontational tone with Piers Morgan early on in the interview.

Jones is also the man behind a petition to deport Morgan from America - a campaign which has reached the White House after receiving over 100,000 signatures.

From the very start of the interview Jones's contempt for Morgan is very clear, as he rants at the presenter for almost nine minutes.

The interview begins in a more controlled fashion as Jones insist that 'the 2nd amendment isn't there for duck hunting; it's there to protect us from tyrannical government and street thugs'.

However, as Jones becomes increasingly irate the interview quickly descends into a tirade where at one point he tells Morgan: "1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms" - a reference to the possibility of a second American Revolutionary War.

Piers Morgan manages to remain composed during the onslaught from Jones, in which the American even challenges him to a boxing match.

During the first part of the sensational interview, Jones rants: "Those men raped that woman to death in India with an iron rod four feet long - you can't ban the iron rod."

He continues: "The guns, the iron rods Piers, didn't do it. The tyrants did it.

"Hitler took the guns. Stalin took the guns. Mau took the gun. Fidel Castro took the guns. Hugo Chavez took the guns. And I'm here to tell you 1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms.

"It dosn't matter how many lemmings you get out there on the street begging for them to have their guns taken. We will not relinquish them, do you understand?

"That's why you're going to fail and that's why the establishment knows, no matter how much propaganda, the republic will rise again."

Jones goes on to say: "Piers, why don't you come to America, I'll take you out shooting, you can become an American and join the republic."

When Morgan attempts to intervene by asking Jones a question, it only spurs his rant on as he becomes more irate and aggressive on air.

Shouting at the top of his voice, he goes on to brand Morgan a 'redcoat foreigner'.

Morgan attempts to reason with Jones by pointing out the apparently huge difference in deaths from gun crime in Britain compared to America.

However, this only riles Jones even more, as he bellows at Morgan that he is using 'factoids' to undermine his argument.

Jones is spearheading a campaign to have Morgan deported from America because he 'is engaged in a hostile attack against the U.S. Constitution by targeting the Second Amendment.'

The petition currently has 105,000 signatures, with Jones taking the opportunity on-air to accuse Morgan of being a 'foreigner, a redcoat, here telling us what to do'.

Jones adds: "You're a hatchet man of the New World Order."

The bizarre exchange ends with Jones even mocking Morgan's British accent, as he reveals that he owns more than 50 firearms himself so he can 'protect his family'.

After the on-air tirade, Morgan made reference to this on Twitter when he told his 3.1million followers: "Comforting that @RealAlexJones personally owns 50 firearms, isn't it..... "
