Anne Hathaway Debuts Short Haircut: Who Else Has Gotten Haircuts Lately?

Anne Hathaway has debuted a new short haircut.

The actress had to chop off her hair for her role in the movie adaptation of "Les Miserables." She will play Fantine, a mother who sells her hair and teeth in order to raise money to support her daughter.

This haircut is certainly making her "Miserable." Although she knew it was part of her character's story line, she was nearly reduced to tears during the haircut. Thankfully, she only had to film the scene once.

Anne is really suffering because of this role. She's even surviving on 500 calories a day in order to look the part for her death scenes!

Who else is getting haircuts lately?

    Ashton Kutcher

Last month at a PaleyFest panel, the "Three and a Half Men" star debuted a clean-shaven, short-haired look. "Men" creator Chuck Lorre says that this haircut highlighted how the character Walden Schmidt changed during his relationship with Zoey.

Ashton joked, "Jesus wanted his look back, so I gave it to him."

    Rihanna

This month, Rihanna dyed her hair black and shaved part of her head, ditching her blonde hair in the process. Why? As she tweeted , "cause I'm black b."

    David Archuleta

Three months ago, the sweet crooner shocked fans with the announcement that he would be taking a two-year hiatus from his music career in order to serve as a Mormon missionary.

Last month, he posted a video blog explaining that he had to get his haircut for his mission. This would be the last time we see him with hair this long for the next couple of years.

    Kathie Lee Gifford

Last month, the "Today" host debuted a fresh haircut for spring. Yet she wasn't too pleased with how it turned out. As she explained , "never go out with an eighteen-year-old daughter that is so drop-dead-gorgeous, that no matter what she does, she looks gorgeous. And you think--and you're wrong--that you'll look good too no matter what you do."
