Best photography apps for your iPhone

Photo sharing is quickly becoming one of the most popular ways in which people share content online. Whether you're an amateur or a pro, take a look at these 5 iPhone photography apps and see if you agree.

    Grungetastic

With its slogan 'clean photos are so yesterday'; this app adds an element of grunge to your shots. Browse through the grungy filters, or roll the dice at the top right hand corner of the screen to allow the app to choose one for you. Adjust the tone, threshold, colour and smoothness and choose from a range of borders. A fun app, which gives a grungetastic dirty feel to your images.

    picFrame

Picframe allows you to create framed images from range of 60 different frames. You can decide the frames ratio, by pressing a button at the top right hand corner of the screen, and change the size of its multiple inner frames, which allows you to add different images to each section if you wish. Pick which frame you would like and then adjust the boarder thickness or round the corners; you can even change the colour of the boarder to produce unique frames every time. The app also allows you to directly share your images with social networking sites straight from the app.

    Camera!

Camara! allows you to 'awesomise' your images which instantly brings dull and lifeless photographs to life. You can also crop and add a vast array of filters, textures and frames. Although the app is free, you will need to purchase the filters, textures and frames, which come in packs of 9 for 69p. You can then export the edited version of your image to your camera roll. This app isn't the fastest out there, but the range of filters available rivals most apps on the market, even if they are quite pricey.

    Instagram

Instagram, recently bought by Facebook for one billion dollars, is one of the most popular photo sharing apps for your iPhone. Simply create a profile and you can upload your own photos, follow others and be followed. The functionality is easy to use and will let you create creative and quirky shots with the press of a button. All images are automatically made square, and once you have uploaded your photograph, choose from a range of cool filters to give your image a distinct look.

    Camera+

One of the best features of Camera+ is that it's very fast. One thing about the iPhone camera is that it's slow to open and slow to take shots; camera+ is almost instant. Arguably one of the best camera apps currently available, camera+ allows you to adjust the image rotation, crop the image, add effects and improve its clarity. There is also a hidden feature with this app. Turn the camera on its side to take a photo, and you can use the volume button to take a shot.
