While large corners of the world are busy celebrating Obama's presidential victory there will be some people feeling slightly deflated to see George Bush step down as US president.

Over the past eight years Bush has provided us with endless amusement as a result of his faux pas or ‘Bushisms' as they've been dubbed. Here are twenty of our favourites.

  8. I Do say after some of the crazies we've had here in the UK who are we to judge someone elses Leader. I think we incur joy at poking fun at George Because we know that the USA is Batman and we're robin or the second fiddle if you will. Also like our opinion of a different countries (Be it USA or Anyone)really makes a differance we need to clean our own house before say some else is messy!

  9. "how did that country survive for the last 8 years?" More importantly how has the world survived the last 8 years? Please refer to war on terror, Iraq, Afghanistan, Oil prices, Financial meltdown... need i go on?? But it's okay- thank God we CAN co-exist with the fishes.
