'Snoopy' the rabbit lived up to his billing as pre-event favourite to be crowned Bunny Hop champion.
The competitors complete a "rabbit-sized" hurdle course with prizes given to the winning bunny and trainer.
The Thuringia Bunny Club staged their event in Jenaloebnitz in Germany this weekend.
Club president Claudia Fehlen said: "In our sport, the bunny hop, we have three different categories: light, medium and difficult. The courses differ in the height the bunny must jump; 25, 35 and 40 centimetres."
Snoopy's owner Sara Gerstner added: "At home all my bunnies live in a barn and they are happy to have some change once a week when they train. They are very excited when they see that carrier box and they know they're off."
The sport originated in Scandinavia but the Thuringia Bunny Club is the first and only club of its kind in Germany.
