Camilla meets Sarah Lund and admits she’s “addicted” to The Killing

Camilla,  Duchess of Cornwall, has admitted she is “addicted” to Danish drama ‘The Killing’, revealing it is “one of the only things” she and Prince Charles can agree to watch together.

Camilla took advantage of the pair’s trip to Denmark to visit the set of the crime thriller which airs on BBC Four, meeting star of the show Sofie Grabon. The Duchess beamed as she sat in the director’s seat and was later presented with a jumper, synonymous with Grabon’s character Sarah Lund. She then jokingly warned an aide not to lose the “fantastic” gift.

The Duchess even made a grab for Grabon’s prop pistol and pointed it at the press, declaring: “It was me all along!”

The excursion came on the last day of Charles and Camilla’s Diamond Jubilee tour of Scandinavia, in which they have visited Norway, Sweden and Denmark. The tour saw the royal couple meet the survivors of the Breivik massacre which claimed 77 lives in Oslo and on Utoya Island.

The trip follows in the footsteps of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge who visited Denmark last November.
