Liverpool striker Andy Carroll is expected to start for England against Sweden in tonight's Euro 2012 Group D match.
The striker was overlooked in favour of Danny Welbeck for England's opening 1-1 draw with France.
Carroll is expected to join Danny Welbeck in attack as manager Roy Hodgson adopts a more direct approach.
Victory in Kiev would put England within touching distance of a quarter-final spot, with Wayne Rooney available to return from his ban for the final group game against Ukraine in Donetsk on Tuesday.
Hodgson said: "I am not worried about our attacking play. We have the quality of players who can score and we have a world-class player of our own to bring back - and I know he is very anxious to get into the team."
England have never beaten Sweden in a competitive match.
