Cheryl Cole was praised for her charity work by Charles, Prince Of Wales at a London awards ceremony on Wednesday.
The Girls Aloud star helped hand out the honours at the Prince's Trust Celebrate Success Awards, which recognises young people who have overcome difficulties.
It was recently revealed that the singer is launching her own charity, The Cheryl Cole Foundation, in association with the Prince's Trust, to help troubled youngsters in her native North East England - and the royal was full of praise for Cole and her work.
Prince Charles says, "She has used the Prince's Trust to put into effect what she is doing in the North East to help turn people's lives around."
