Michelle Keegan's Coronation Street Leaving Do Gets Chavvy!

The actress went for an unusual theme for her leaving bash this week

The Weatherfield branch of JD Sports must have been doing a roaring trade this week.

Michelle Keegan enlisted the help of her fiancé Mark Wright - along with her colleagues from the cobbles - as she celebrated her departure from Coronation Street with a chav-tastic night out in Manchester.

Well, it’s what Tina would’ve wanted.

Not surprisingly, Michelle managed to completely own the ‘Strongbow and a pack of Bensons’ look, and managed to look RIDICULOUSLY hot, as per.

And Mark didn’t look too bad either, but maybe that was just the shorts  *faints*.

The 26-year old finished filming her final scenes as Tina McIntyre this week, and in true Tina style the actress decided that the dress code for her leaving bash should be grubbier than the gents’ toilets in The Rover’s Return.

And my god did some people take that to heart.

Those wanting to see Emily Bishop in a pair of hoop earrings and a Kappa jacket will be left sorely disappointed however, as it seems this was an event geared for the ‘young’uns’.

Not even Dierdre Barlow,  the biggest Ghetto Prince$$ in Weatherfield, was there  - and she loves an excuse to get her Lonsdale hoodie out and cornrow her hair.

Helen Worth - better known to you and I as screen siren and plucky housewife Gail Platt-McIntyre – was in attendance, alas she didn’t appear to get the memo about the dress code.

Tell you what, Gail - Audrey wouldn’t stand for that sort of shoddiness.

Taking to the Twittersphere, Michelle thanked her fans and her bosses at Corrie HQ for all their help and support over the years, and seemed to get a tad emotional:

N’aww.

Have a bowl of Betty's hotpot Michelle - that'll sort you out.
