Microsoft has now released Windows XP SP3 after incompatibility with its Dynamics RMS application delayed its scheduled release in April.
The service pack includes all Windows XP updates including security updates and "hotfixes" and select out-of-band releases. It also features network access protection (NAP), an update of Windows Product Activation, and security improvements such as black hole router detection.
The release comes less than two months before Microsoft officially phases out Windows XP in favor of Vista.
Windows XP SP3 is available through Windows Update and on the Microsoft Download Center.
