Technology and consulting services provider SRA International has reported a 20% increase in net income to $18.04m for the third quarter 2008, on revenue up 18% at $376m.
The company said during the quarter it won $503m worth of new business and it has a backlog of signed business orders of $3.9bn, up 11% year-on-year.
SRA president and CEO Stan Sloane said: "We were pleased to win nearly three times the volume of contract awards that we won in the same quarter last year."
Looking ahead, the company expects revenue in range of $370m and $390m and diluted EPS in range of $0.31 and $0.33 for the fourth quarter 2008. For the year it expects revenue in range of $1.49bn and $1.51bn and diluted EPS in range of $1.23 and $1.25.
