Canadian rapper Drake has finally graduated from school - 10 years after originally ditching classes to pursue an acting career.
The 25-year-old took to social networking site Twitter to show his appreciation for one of his teachers who helped him gain the belated diploma.
He tweeted: "97% on my final exam. 88% in the course. One of the greatest feelings in my entire life. As of tonight I have graduated high school!
"Thank you to my teacher Kim Janzen for spending the last 5 months working tirelessly with me!! OVO SOUND."
Drake - who has been romantically linked with singer Rihanna - dropped out of school in America to pursue an acting career when he was just 15-years-old.
Since then he has recorded hits such as Best I Ever Had, Successful and Make Me Proud.
He has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Alicia Keys and Timbaland - as well as Rihanna.
His union with the Barbadian caused friction with singer Chris Brown, who had a well-documented stormy relationship with the Umbrella performer.
Drake and Brown were involved in a brawl at a night club in New York earlier this year which resulted in damage to the venue and a number of people getting injured, including basketball player Tony Parker.
The fight allegedly started over a note which was sent to Brown's table by Drake's entourage about Rihanna.
The two men have apparently since settled their differences.
