    England Ready For Twenty20 Comeback

England bowler Graeme Swann said the mood in the camp is a "little bit downbeat" after they lost the first Twenty20 match against Pakistan.

Swann took career-best figures of three for 13 but it was not enough to prevent defeat as England failed by eight runs to chase 144 for six.

He told reporters he is confident that the young players in England's middle order are capable of much better in the next game on Saturday also at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

"It's a little bit downbeat," Swann said of the mood in the England camp this morning, with the next match scheduled at the same venue on Saturday.

"Twenty20 is an exciting game - most games do go down to the wire - and that's why, in my opinion, it's the best form of one-day cricket."

He added: "They have world-class bowlers at the death, and we didn't cope with that as well as we should have done."

"Having said that, we got ourselves in a winning position and nine times out of 10 we'd expect ourselves to cross the line. But we've got two games left in the series to make amends."

England lost all three Test matches in the series against Pakistan before they won all four one day matches in the shorter format.
