Lee Westwood thinks that golf's inclusion in the Olympics at Rio de Janeiro in 2016 will be positive for the sport.
The former world number one says the Olympics will help take golf to a "much wider ranging audience" with the extra hype surrounding the games.
Alongside Westwood, Ireland's Padraig Harrington and 14-time major champion Tiger Woods have both announced their support for the sport's inclusion at the Olympics.
The venue, schedule and format of the event in Rio de Janeiro has yet to be decided.
