A woman has lost her daughter, brother and grand-niece in two separate car crashes.
Glenys Pickering's daughter Vicky died while travelling to surprise her on her fiftieth birthday.
The 27-year-old, who worked at HMS Nelson Naval Base in Portsmouth, was killed along with her friend, Zoe West, on the M6 in Lancashire.
Then, just over two weeks later, Glenys's brother Paul Anderson, 48, was killed along with his four-year-old granddaughter Samantha Carr.
They were involved in a collision in the Scottish Highlands as they were travelling to Vicky's funeral.
Glenys's husband Colin has said the family has been devastated by the tragedy.
