Katy Perry has been keeping pretty quiet since it was announced that her and hubby Russell Brand were splitting but Katy proved this week she isn't letting a little heartbreak slow her down.
At Katy's first concert in Jakarta, Indonesia since the breakup she was her usual ball of energy; dressing in fun outfits and singing her heart out. She surprised the audience and one lucky fan on stage when she planted a kiss on his cheek.
The shirtless male fan looked legitimately shocked and when Katy give his bare chest a nice pat down, we can guess he liked that too! Will Katy be kissing any other lucky fellas anytime soon? Let's see what headlines this pop star has been making recently.
Katy Unfollows Russell on Twitter
You know when a relationship is over when your ex-loved one unfollows you on Twitter. According to a source close to Katy, the singer is limiting her contact with Russell and keeping contact with him only through phone or email.
"She's limiting those interactions," the source told US Weekly. "He's being so atrocious that she feel like she never really knew him."
Russell still follows his former lady love but he also hasn't updated his Twitter in awhile. At least Katy's Twitter handle isn't Mrs. Brand (following suit with Mrs. Kutcher a.k.a Demi Moore.) That'd be awkward.
Katy Perry Heads to The Sims
Katy is heading towards life in the virtual world. Electronic Arts and Katy have collaborated together creatively on a new Sims game. The special Collector's Edition of " The Sims 3 Showtime" will be available in March. We're super excited for this because we love Katy and we love The Sims. What can get better than that?
This isn't the first time Katy has been Simified. The star did a version of her song "Hot 'N Cold" in 2008 for "The Sims 2: Apartment Life."
"I love how you're able to play out different stories through your Sims characters - giving them different careers and watching them succeed," Perry said.
Aside from appearing in the game Perry also contributed elements of her style to the game including wardrobe, furniture, accessories, and more. Oooh. We're curious what fun outfits Katy added to the mix. Is this on your early 2012 wish list?
