Kim Kardashian and momager Kris Jenner visit Dubai on the latest episode of "Kourtney and Kim Take New York." The reality TV megastar was invited to make her first Middle Eastern appearance for the opening of a new Millions of Milkshakes shop. The sweets shop is located in the Dubai Mall, the largest shopping mall in the world. The appearance, which took place back in October 2011, required Kimmie to leave her new hubbie Kris Humphries behind. The recent episode foreshadows the demise of their brief marriage as KK confides in her mom about how freeing it is to be away from her man.
On her blog, however, Kim doesn't let any of that pesky marriage stuff dampen her spirits about the trip. She writes, "My mom and I had the most incredible time in Dubai! It is definitely one of my favorite trips to date!" The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star goes on to say, "The people were so friendly and the hotel and the staff were amazing!" Oh well, if she isn't obsessing about ending her relationship then we won't either.
So, what else does Kim K have brewing?
Princess to Princess
Kim has reached out to Prince William's wife Duchess Kate with a new video. In the video diary Kimmie wishes Kate a happy birthday and welcomes her to the thirties. "Kim's Fairytale Wedding" was supposed to be America's answer to the royal wedding. Luckily, as far as we know, William and Kate's marriage seems to be working out.
Kim goes glam in the style of Ye Olde Hollywood for True Reflection, her latest fragrance. The beautiful pictures evoke the timeless glamour of her role model Elizabeth Taylor. Kim says that the new fragrance, due out this Spring, is completely different that her other perfumes and colognes. Blood red lipstick and deep waves complete her high fashion look in the campaign.
Cease and Desist
The 31-year-old Kardashian diva is not going to sit by and be mocked. FOX News is reporting that an anti-Kardashian petitioner's website has been sent a pretty stern letter from lawyers representing the soon-to-be-ex Mrs. Humphries. BoycottKim.com could be charged with harassment if they don't cease and desist immediately. The site, which has over half a million signatures, dared to say that the starlet and her family are a "stain on our culture."
Kim's fans meanwhile, continue to have her back. As one of her blog dolls "Farzeen" writes, "You truly are the Elizabeth Taylor of our time. You have her poise and grace. I'm not even kidding you. I think you really did have a connection with her and still do." For this, we are sure, Miss Kardashian is very grateful.
What do you think? Is KK the Liz Taylor of our era? Should Princess Kate Middleton have tea with Kim?
