Man Held After Woman, 79, Stabbed To Death

A 79-year-old woman has died after being repeatedly stabbed in north London.

The pensioner was found by police at an address in Wood Green this afternoon and pronounced dead at the scene.

A 31-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder.

Sky sources have said it was not a domestic incident.
