Meet the monkey who looks like Einstein

With his sprouting moustache, diminutive appearance and bushy white hairline, some might say this adorable baby monkey bears a resemblance to a certain world-famous physicist.

The wrinkly-faced stump-tailed macaque has been likened to Albert Einstein due to his distinctive features.

From his matching receding hairline to his sporadic facial hair, the baby monkey is something of a dead ringer for the man behind the world's most famous E=MC² equation.

    Lookalike: The world-renowned physicist himself

This unlikely double was snapped climbing on his pals and swinging from branches by Professor Mihail Nazarov,66, at Taiping National Park in Malaysia.

Albert Einstein took his place in the history books in the early 20th century and is often regarded as the father of modern physics for developing the E=MC² theory for his works on the idea of relativity.

Mihail, a physics professor has been dabbling in photography for nearly 60 years but this is the first time he has ever spotted anything like this.

He said: "As soon as I saw the baby monkey, my very first thought was that it looked like Einstein and that I needed to get some shots of it to prove it.

"When I got back home, I looked back through the shots and could see the similarities between the monkey and Einstein even more.

"I love these pictures and the feeling of capturing something which is so unusual and amazing."
